Registration is closed — can I still get a seat?
We are grateful for the strong support from our alumni. All seats for the RV 70th Anniversary Dinner have been taken.

We understand your disappointment in missing out this time. As the venue has reached full capacity, we are unable to accommodate additional guests.

Do stay tuned to our social pages for future events and register early as seats tend to go off fast!

Why are the seats selling out so fast?
The strong response from our alumni has been very encouraging. In addition, a portion of the seats has been reserved by the school for current teachers to join this meaningful celebration.

As the dinner venue has a fixed seating capacity, we are unable to add more tables. We therefore encourage those who wish to attend to register early, before seats run out.

Can I bring a partner who is not an RV alumni?
Yes, your partner is welcome! Please purchase 2 seats under your name.

Can I sit with my classmates?
We will try our best to group tables by batch or class. To guarantee sitting together, it’s best to gather your classmates and form a full table of 10.

What’s on the menu?
A traditional 8-course Chinese dinner will be served. Halal and vegetarian options are available – please indicate your dietary requirements under “Special Requests”. We seek your understanding that no other options are available. If you indicate any other options, standard Chinese menu will be served.

I am a vegetarian and/or I require halal menu. Can special arrangements be made? 
Yes, please let us know in advance by indicating your dietary requirements under “Special Requests”. We seek your understanding that no other options are available. If you indicate any other options, standard Chinese menu will be served.

Will there be alcohol?
Yes, beer, red wine, and white wine will be served.

Is there shuttle bus service?
Yes, complimentary 2-way shuttle bus service will be provided.

What if I miss the shuttle bus service?
Please note the last bus timings (see above). 

If you miss the last bus, you will need to arrange your own transport. The nearest MRT station is Boon Lay MRT which is about a 9-minute walk (600m), while RVHS is about a 22-minute walk (1.6km) from SAFRA Jurong.

If I drive, is parking available?
You can park at SAFRA Jurong but there are limited parking lots. 

Public parking is also available at the neighbouring HDB carpark at Blk 660 Jurong West St 64 which is opposite SAFRA Jurong.

Alternatively, you can park at RVHS campus and take the free shuttle bus to the SAFRA Jurong. Please note that the last shuttle bus departs RVHS at 6.50pm.

If I am unable to attend, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, there will be no refund.
However, you may find a replacement to attend on your behalf. Please drop us a note at rvhs.alumni.sg@gmail.com to inform us in advance.

Can I be seated at the same table as my teacher?
Teachers (both current and retired) have been pre-assigned to specific tables. While you may not sit at the same table, you are welcome to mingle and say hello during the dinner.

If I have 5 people, can we still pay the average price of $150 per pax?
We are unable to extend the full-table rate to less than a group of 10. We encourage you to reach out to more friends to form a full table.

If I have 11 people, can we sit together and still have an average paying price of $150 per pax?
Yes, 11 is the maximum number we can seat at a table. Please email us with your request. Do note that it will be a little cozier, and food portions remain the same.

If I have 12/13/14 people, can we sit together and still have an average paying of $150 per pax?
Unfortunately, no. Each table can seat a maximum of 11 guests. If you have more than 11, the extra person(s) will need to be registered separately and seated at another table. We will do our best to place the tables close together so your group can still enjoy the evening as one.

What is the dress code?
As we celebrate this momentous occasion in style, we are donning formal attire: shirt and long pants for the gentlemen; cocktail or evening wear for the ladies.

Strictly no slippers or shorts.
